The WPC was birthed on the 16th of December 2011. It started at a church in Armley with about 9 Pastors wives in attendance. In 2012 by the grace of God, it multiplied as more WOG attended. God has since increased the group by his grace and currently have the WPC Wakefield Chapter.
The Women Prayer Congress (Female Pastors, leaders, ministers and women called into intercession) provides Christian-based support and encouragement to all female pastors, leaders and women ministers through prayer to achieve their God mandated goals. Through Prayers, pastoral and therapeutic Counselling we try to meet the emotional and spiritual needs to the female leaders, pastors and ministers who are going through or have been through challenges in ministry.
The WPC support, encourage and prompt all female pastors, ministers leaders women take their rightful position through prayer in order to affect the nation, churches, Leaders and children positively, and in the will of God.
As female minister’s leaders, our vision is to pray for the pastor’s minister’s leader’s children and churches to effect the purpose of God through the manifestation of God’s power to the saving of souls. This will in turn impact every individual child of God to pray without ceasing and to ignite the fire on the altar burning. Psalm 11 verse 3.

BELIEFS
We believe in the word of God, the Bible as the final Word of God and authority in faith and life. We believe in the trinity, Good the father son and the Holy Spirit.
THERAPY
We provide both pastoral and therapeutic counselling we try to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of female leaders, pastors and ministers.
MUSIC
We believe in the power of praise and worship as a gift to gladden the heart of our God. Praise is becoming to the upright.
